Pentominoes?

Our 3rd grade study groups have been discussing geometry. We began our work by reviewing dimensions - in particular 1, 2, and 3 dimensional measurements. Students took notes about our discussion and have begun working with math tools called pentominoes. I'll let them tell you more later, but I did want to share some snaps of their work.
